the location is perfect for exploring the stunning surroundings, with the footpath leading down to the main town and beautiful lake views just a short walk away. The warm welcome and hospitality from Rita and her team truly made our stay memorable.

The views from my balcony were absolutely breathtaking, giving me a sweeping sight of Lake Como at sunrise. Rita and Kirsty's hospitality made me feel right at home. they provided breakfast with fresh pastries and homemade Italian dishes that were simply divine. The apartment had everything I could need, from a washing machine to air conditioning. The cleanliness was remarkable, with my room being serviced daily. However, the steep walk back to town can be quite strenuous, especially after dining out. It usually took about 15 to 20 minutes to reach the ferry port, which could be tough if you're not in good shape. Also, navigating the cobblestone paths was tricky at times. Despite these challenges, the charm and unique atmosphere of the hotel made it a special place to stay.

The steep walk to town is a workout, especially with luggage!!! Navigation to the hotel is tricky due to unclear directions, and limited public transport options make it inconvenient to explore nearby areas. Plus, the outdated furnishings give a lacking touch!!!

Staying here with my family and our three dogs was quite the experience! We loved the beautiful stroll along the Sentiero del Viandante, which led us to breathtaking views. Rita and her team's warmth made us feel at home, especially with tasty homemade meals.

My wife says that better amenities for kids would be great.

The hospitality of Rita was great! One day, after a long hike, she surprised us with the best homemade pasta I've ever had, and it felt like a feast after a hard day's work. Plus, the tranquil pool area surrounded by olive trees was a perfect escape for the kids to unwind after our adventures.

It was a bit pricey, but worth every penny for the experience.

We loved relaxing in the inviting outdoor pool after a long day of hiking and enjoyed the cozy little garden area as well. The place had a unique charm that made it feel like home, even if the walk back up the hill could be a bit of a workout. Make sure to dine early since the kitchen closes at 8:30 PM and plan for reservations at nearby restaurants! 😊

Staying at Hotel Diffuso Il Portichetto Vezio Perledo was a delightful experience! The owner Rita was extremely hospitable, providing excellent communication before our arrival. The room was comfortable and clean, while the pool area under the olive trees offered a great retreat from the summer heat. Plus, we loved Rita's delicious homemade dinner and breakfast during our stay.

One downside was the difficulty in finding a taxi to return to the hotel after our evening outings. It took longer than we expected to secure a ride back, which can be challenging, especially at night.
